Pamela Harding
Writer, presenter, and a survivor of domestic violence and stalking. Pamela has consulted for nearly 20 years with law enforcement, judiciary, mental health, medical communities in Washington State. And in articles and presentation, her focus has been to call the business community's attention to domestic violence in the workplace. Because of her continued activism, Pamela was invited to consult with the Seattle City Attorney’s office and Washington State Legislators. And her editorial -- Is Your Company Safe from Domestic Violence? -- was featured in the King County Bar Association’s Bar Bulletin. Most recently, Pamela developed a domestic violence safety training for women in the corporate world, and she is working on a study of the impact of domestic violence on the lives and work of professional women. Johnny Lee
Author, lecturer and founder Peace At Work (www.peaceatwork.org), a non-profit dedicated to the prevention of violence in the workplace. The author of Domestic Violence in the Workplace (2005), Lee is a former workplace violence specialist for the Office of State Personnel in Raleigh, North Carolina. His responsibilities included consulting state agencies on the development and revision of their workplace violence programs to include a domestic violence component. Lee was also the training director for the UNC-Chapel Hill Injury Prevention Research Center’s PREVENT program, and created a national violence prevention training program. Ginny Nicarthy, MSW
Author, lecturer, and founder of The Abused Women’s Network. Nicarthy, the author of Getting Free: You Can End Abuse and Take Back Your Life and You Can Be Free, a Handbook for Abused Women, has lectured and led workshops on all phases of abuse and women and power throughout the US and Canada and internationally. As a result of her ground-breaking work, the King County (Seattle) Coalition Against Domestic Violence created a Ginny NiCarthy Excellence in Advocacy Award.
